GradePoint Pro is published by MAVTech LLC. The app records foundation elevation surveys — measurements, observations, photographs and the reports built from them. This policy explains what happens to that information.
Your surveys stay on your device. GradePoint Pro has no user accounts and no sign-in. It does not upload your surveys, your photographs or your reports anywhere. Nothing is transmitted to us, and we cannot see your work. Information leaves the device only when you export or share it yourself, and in the two limited technical cases described below.
Everything you record is written to private storage belonging to the app on your iPad or tablet:
This storage is private to the app. Other apps cannot read it. If you have device backup switched on (iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup on iOS, or Android's backup service), this data is included in that backup, under whatever terms your device backup already operates. That is a feature of your device, not something the app sends.
Nothing. GradePoint Pro contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no crash-reporting service of our own, and no third-party software development kits that gather information about you or your use of the app. We do not build a profile of you, and there is nothing for us to sell — we could not sell your data if we wanted to, because we never receive it.
The site you are reading sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you join the launch list, your email address — and nothing else — is saved to a database we run on Google Firebase. It is not passed to a mailing-list company or to anyone else, and it is not linked to anything you do on the site, because we do not record anything you do on the site. We use it once, to tell you when GradePoint Pro reaches the App Store, and we delete it on request or once it has served that purpose. Write to support@mymavtech.com and we will remove you.
Exporting a PDF report, or exporting a survey archive, hands the file to your device's own share sheet. You decide where it goes — email, a file, a colleague, cloud storage of your choosing. A survey archive contains the full survey including the photographs. Once you have shared a file, it is governed by wherever you sent it, not by this policy.
The app checks for updates to itself when it launches, by contacting update
servers operated by Expo (u.expo.dev). That request carries
technical information only — the platform, the app and runtime version, and
an identifier for the installation. It carries no survey data, no
photographs and nothing about you or your clients.
GradePoint Pro can draft parts of a report's narrative using Google's Gemini model. This feature is off unless your build has been configured with an API key, and it does nothing until you press Generate.
When you do use it, the app sends the survey name — which is usually a property address — the inspection type, and the measured findings for that survey. It does not send photographs. Google processes that request under its own terms. If that is not acceptable for a particular job, do not use the drafting feature; every part of the report can be written by hand, and the measured figures are produced on the device either way.
| Camera | To photograph a condition and attach it to an observation. Photographs are saved in the app's private storage. |
|---|---|
| Photo library | To attach an existing photograph, or to place a floor plan you have as an image. |
| Files | To save an exported report or archive where you choose, and to open an archive someone has sent you. |
Each is used only for the action you asked for, at the moment you ask for it. The app does not browse your photo library or read files you have not selected.
Your surveys stay until you delete them. Deleting a survey in the app removes it and its photographs from the device. Deleting the app removes everything it holds. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for you to ask us to delete — and no request you could make that would reach a copy we hold, because there is none.
GradePoint Pro is a professional tool for foundation inspection. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If the app's handling of information changes, this page changes with it and the effective date above is updated. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
